Across Western North Carolina, people in recovery—and those who love them—are doing some of the hardest work a human being can do: rebuilding a life, a family, a future. But recovery is not just about individual willpower. It’s about whether someone has a safe place to sleep tonight. It’s about whether they can see a doctor who listens and cares. It’s about whether their community sees them as a problem to manage or a neighbor to support. That’s where the Western North Carolina Recovery Community Collaborative (WNCRCC) comes in.
